The individual will need to have a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with outside sales force and with customers, and will be a team member of our inside sales group.  This position will share the responsibility for attaining sales objectives in a designated territory. The enthusiastic environment allows for interaction internally, with the sales force as well as with existing and potential customers.  Your ability to develop relationships over the phone is key for this position
.  
Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Work independently and with field sales counterparts to develop relationships with existing customers
  • Develop sales opportunities in specified markets
  •  Work closely with customers to assess needs and determine appropriate product offering
  • Handling of correspondence and mailings to customers
  • Responsible to meet specific, quantifiable objectives for number of leads provided to the sales force and   jobs awarded as a result of these leads
  • Handling of the filing process as needed
  • Follow company environmental policy and notify supervisor of any environmental concern that may affect your work area or other company property

Tu experiencia - Nuestras fortalezas

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of inside or field sales experience
  • Some knowledge of roofing or construction industry is preferred
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Windows Applications (Microsoft, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with data base maintenance, preferably ACT and CRM tools
  • Occasional travel via car, plane, or train
