Broad Function and Purpose of Position

Manage a sales region with a sales team. Working in close association with sales representatives, under the direction of Director of Sales. This person will be responsible for achieving sales and profit goals for the Tile Setting Materials business which includes the Sika Tile and Merkrete brands of products. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales and deliver forecasted results for SikaTile and Merkrete brands by focusing the team on end-users and  developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, specifiers, distributors, and key business influencers.
  • Introduce, demonstrate, and promote current and new tile setting materials products with hands-on  demonstrations, marketing presentations & professional product displays.
  • Drive lead generation through jobsite visits, specifications and cold calls. 
  • Promote team to update CRM systems daily SFDC
  • Contribute to key customers and prospects relationships. 
  • Develop field action plans, sales strategies and deliver region budget.
  • Analyze and report business conditions i.e. new product needs, new trends within the region and recommend actions to Director consistent with sales goals.
  • Perform AD HOC duties and activities as directed by your supervisor. 
  • Represent company at necessary industry tradeshows and associations to help it attain the desired leadership position in this segment.

  • College degree preferred with a combination of minimum relevant experience 
  • Proven track record
  • Capable of working with/for sales teams in different states to achieve desired goals. 
  • Proven skills and traits to work in teams and foster relationships to achieve business targets. 
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales or related field
