The Product Manager for our Buildings & Parking business will have the responsibility of product management and marketing of Wall Coatings and Joint Sealants Products and Application Fields within the Commercial Construction Division.
Create, maintain, grow, and manage a Product Range that results in profitable and sustainable growth for Sika in its target markets.
Drive demand creation in the market via all marketing channels – sales team, social media, webinars and sales tools, training programs.
Project management of all innovation projects – meetings, use of agenda and minutes, use of SIP to support sound documentation and communication, effective milestone proposals, SIP Project Reporting, Risk Management and effectively communicating to the LET the milestones proposals and any deviations.
Conduct market research and analysis to determine size and attractiveness of product markets and application fields. Understand Sika’s product market share vs competition, measure annually and make it grow. Develop sound Strategic Plans together with business management and implement.
Fully responsible for the accuracy of all product literature (product data sheets, brochures, flyers, etc) and electronic media.
Responsible for all product packaging and labeling. Produce new or revitalized product and promotional packages.
Track major quality complaints for completion and proper corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement and ultimate superior customer satisfaction. Resolve all product claims expeditiously with a high level of communication and via effective negotiation strategies and tactics. Ensure a proper inspection process is followed to eliminate exposure to frivolous claims. Follow the claims process.
Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field of study
Min. 5 years experience in a Technical Marketing or Sales role
Sales experience extremely desirable
Min. 2 year site/field work in construction a plus
High level of communication skills
Must have excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
