Product Management Apprentice

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an award-winning team and support the Flooring Product Manager across all product related activities, with a particular focus on ensuring customers, clients and colleagues are fully supported. Assisted by our EMEA colleagues, you will have the chance to develop your skills across a range of platforms and technologies – our training is second to none. You will have ownership of some key projects to support the business strategy.

Sika Target Market Flooring has ambitious growth plans for 2024, and with the recent acquisition of MBCC there is a fabulous opportunity to really establish ourselves as the number one choice in the U.K. flooring market. Not only do we have a number of key product developments and launches to support business strategy, but we also have the rebranding and repositioning of MBCC brands such as market leader Sika® Ucrete®.

What’s In it for You?

The Opportunity: 

There are several key areas this role will be instrumental in delivering in, including:

Product Development – reviewing the current product portfolio, ensuring the products are aligned to the business strategy and offering the most competitive, innovative products on the market.

Product Launches – identifying niches or requirements in the market, working with colleagues to implement or develop products to fulfil the gaps in market.

Product Management – liaising with other internal departments to ensure stock requirements are met, documentation is kept up-to-date and resolving any product issues. 

Brand Integration – helping with the brand transition as MBCC becomes integrated within Sika. Working with marketing to produce Sika branded collateral.

Product Training – support Product Manager and Technical Department with training colleagues, customers and prospective clients.
